NYSBA and Albany Law to Send Student Interns to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Vienna
The New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) International Section and Albany Law School recently announced the 2016 Law Student International Internship Program, which has secured internships for U.S. law students in law firms in Buenos Aires, Mexico City, San Jose, Sao Paulo, and Vienna.
The four- to eight-week internships are available to 2L and 3L students. The participating law firms will provide the student intern with mentoring and hands-on work experience.
Previous student interns have fulfilled work assignments in various business, commercial and financial matters. They have participated in client meetings, prepared and reviewed legal documents, conducted research, and assisted with the firms’ English language legal and marketing materials.
The Law Student International Internship Program is part of a larger study-abroad program offered by Albany Law, where, in the past, students have studied in China, France, South Africa and other countries.
