Update from the Dean: Library Closing Immediately

Dear Albany Law School Community:

We have just learned that an individual who was in the library this morning has tested positive for SAR-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The individual is asymptomatic and has returned home for a period of quarantine.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing the library and foyer areas immediately. All affected areas will be sanitized.

The Albany County Department of Health has been notified and has begun contact tracing. If you receive a call from the Albany County Department of Health, please answer and follow the directions you receive.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide additional information as soon as possible.
