Join us during Sexual Assault Awareness Month for a screening of “The Hunting Ground” which demonstrates higher education’s inaction in light of the increased reporting of sexual assaults on university campuses. The documentary highlights the EEOC complaint process and the journey of two young women and their efforts to inform students around the country of their right to a fair administrative hearing. Panel discussion and reception to follow.

Annual Domestic Violence Vigil

The Women's Law Caucus of Albany Law School invites the community to attend its Annual Candlelight Vigil to honor and remember those who have died due to domestic violence, celebrate those who survive and thrive, and connect with others who support the cause of raising public awareness about the issue.
This year's vigil will feature Ellen Schell ‘93, General Counsel for the Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence; Shannon Sarfoh ’00, Bureau Chief for the Albany County District Attorney's Office, Special Victims Unit; Christine Rodriguez, Domestic Violence Outreach Services Director at Equinox; and David Warren ’15, Director of Domestic Violence Services at Unity House.
The vigil will take place in the West Foyer.
