Campus Transportation
Capital CarShare:
Albany Law and Capital CarShare are happy to announce that car sharing has come to campus. Capital CarShare's 2018 yellow Honda Fit has been placed in the corner of the
2000 Lot closest to Lot 11.
This gives students, faculty and staff access to shared eco-friendly transportation. With membership plans as low as $5 per month, Capital CarShare is a great way to get you off campus and back again.
To get started:
- Go to
capitalcarshare.org to find the best plan for your transportation needs and complete your application.
- Visit the Capital CarShare office at 194 Lark Street to get your smart key and get on the road.
Taxi Service Voucher Program
The Law School has made arrangements to have a Taxi Service drive students who walk to school, home in the evenings, within a 2 mile radius. Stop by the security desk, located in the East Foyer of the 1928 building, to obtain a voucher from the Security Officer on duty. There is a telephone at the security desk available to call for a taxi or you may request the Security Officer call for you.
Free UAlbany Bus Service
Albany Law School students can commute on the
University at Albany buses using Route #3 to travel to their East Campus. This is one of the benefits of
our affiliation with the University at Albany.
CDTA Bus Service
If you wish to use CDTA bus service, stop by the business office and request a Navigator card. Once the card is issued, you will have access to the entire CDTA network at no charge.
CDPHP Bike Service
To use the bike service, go to
www.cdphpcycle.com, scroll down to "CDPHP Cycle! Access,” and click on “Unlock Your Access.” This will bring up a list of schools and business. Choose the Albany Law School plan and register using your @albanylaw.edu email address.
