Meet Albany Law School Flex JD student Maren Barney. She lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and shared a glimpse into her life as a Flex student balancing her coursework, personal life, and work.  

"I’m proud to be a Flex JD student at Albany Law School. I was born and raised in Nevada and wanted a law school that let me live where I feel most comfortable while maintaining my job. Albany Law's Flex JD Program allows me to stay close to my family while still accessing school resources when needed. Our cohort is spread around the world, but we’ve built a close bond and rely on technology to support each other. Law school is a big adjustment, but for me and many of my classmates, this program perfectly fits our needs!" she said.
