Professors Lynch, Chung Present at "Women Who Wouldn’t Take ‘No’ for an Answer."

Professors Christine Chung and Mary A. Lynch spoke at the Sisters in Law Spring Retreat of the New York Chapter of the National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ-NY) on Monday May 8, 2023 in Saratoga Springs, NY.   The theme for the retreat was “Women Who Wouldn’t Take ‘No’ for an Answer.” 

Professor Chung presented on “From Lily Bart to the “Boom, Boom Room”:  How Wall Street’s Social and Cultural Response to Women Has Shaped Securities Regulation.” 

Professor Lynch presented “Always Opportunities to Be Had: Wisdom Lessons from Pioneering NY Lawyer Kate Stoneman.”

Professors Chung and Lynch enjoyed the warm welcome provided by NAWJ-NY President Hon. Marcia Hirsch and Vice-President of the First Department Justice Llinét M. Rosado ’97 They were delighted by the opportunity to speak with other judges from around the state including Albany Law Alumna and Housing Court Judge Enedina Pilar Sanchez.

They also reunited with 2023 Miriam M. Netter '72 Kate Stoneman Award Recipient Teneka E. Frost ’02.
