Professor Bonventre Analyzes Supreme Court's Record in Discrimination Cases

Professor Vincent Bonventre recently posted the fifth installment of his series on the Supreme Court's record in discrimination cases to date for the Roberts Court to his New York Court Watcher blog, which draws more than 6,000 visitors each month.

The series begins with the fundamental question "So what is the current Supreme Court's record in cases involving issues of racial discrimination?" Professor Bonventre goes on to develop a comprehensive answer, including graphs and a justice-by-justice analysis of decisional and voting figures.

New York Court Watcher, first launched in 2008, covers the Supreme Court, New York Court of Appeals and other state and federal court systems.

Professor Bonventre, along with an editorial board comprised of Albany Law School students, also maintains the online Center for Judicial Process to study courts, judges, judicial decision-making and judicial politics and selection at the state, federal and international levels.
