Haddad Named to Albany Business Review’s ‘40 Under 40’
Fatin Haddad ’11
Fatin Haddad ’11, associate at Phillips Lytle LLP, was named to the Albany Business Review’s ’40 Under 40’ class of 2018.
The Business Review said it received more than 400 nominations for the annual list, which recognizes up-and-coming executives, innovators, and thought leaders who will shape the future of Albany.
Haddad counsels a wide range of entrepreneurs and corporate clients on acquisitions, governance, mergers, venture capital investments, and other business transactions. Her practice areas at Phillips Lytle include corporate law, energy, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and technology.
She previously served on the executive management team of the U.S. energy company CG Power Solutions, Inc. As Director of Strategy and Sourcing, she led the drafting and negotiation of all commercial transactions and was responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan. Before that she was Manager of Procurement, an attorney on the company’s in-house legal team, and a legal intern.
Haddad is admitted to practice in New York State and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York. She is a member of the Albany County Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of FuzeHub.
Haddad is an alumna of Siena College and Albany Law School, Class of 2011. At Albany Law, she was Managing Editor for Submissions for the Albany Government Law Review, interned for the Securities Arbitration Clinic, and took part in the moot court program. Haddad graduated magna cum laude and has for several years participated in the Career and Professional Development Center’s “Career Connections: Pathways to Success” networking event representing the corporate law field.
