The Registrar’s office is still accepting bar admissions forms, transcript request forms, and other documents for processing through mail.
The Registrar's Office handles all aspects of registration and examinations, as well as student loan deferments, VA benefits, bar certifications, optional practical training for our international students, and academic transcripts.
Please fill out the transcript request form and mail it to the office.
There is a $3 charge for each transcript requested.
Once the transcript request form and payment are received, we will process the request.
There is no charge for transcripts sent to a state bar. There is no charge to have a transcript sent to Albany Law School's Admissions Office.
Current students may request official transcripts using WebAdvisor or by filling out the appropriate form in the Registrar's Office.
Current students are entitled to one free transcript per semester.

The Registrar's Office assigns first-year schedules to students.
Beginning with the third semester, students select courses in accordance with the guidelines for their specific academic programs.
Details of graduation requirements for each program are outlined in the Student Handbook.
The Registrar's office designates the registration period for each semester and provides students with procedures and deadlines for course selections.
Each student must complete a legal ethics course, a professional skills course (beginning with the class of '08), and satisfy the upper-class writing assignment to earn a J.D. degree from Albany Law School.

Rules Regarding Exam Postponements (Not including Take Home Exams)
Students may submit a request to postpone an exam if they have: Two exams on the same day OR An exam at 1:30 p.m. and then 9:00 a.m. the next day OR Three or more exams scheduled on three consecutive days.
Postponed exams are rescheduled to the earliest day that is feasible.
