The Innovation Intensive Survey: This survey course offers students the opportunity to learn with faculty and students from the University at Albany (School of Business, College of Nanoscale Science & Engineering, etc.).It exposes students to the science, art, and law of innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies. Students will not only receive grounding in the law of intellectual property, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and business development, but they will also be introduced to the science behind new innovations, like generative artificial intelligence, nanoscale technologies and other cutting-edge innovations, so that they can practice effectively in a rapidly changing world.The class will meet weekly, in a combination of remote and in-person classes, at a time or times that are still being coordinated with the University at Albany. Students will receive 3 credits through this class. Students do not need any background in prior technological expertise or knowledge in intellectual property to enroll in this survey course.
