Programs & Centers
Albany Law School's hands-on curriculum provides the experience you need to build professional skills for a lifetime of career success and achievement. Programs and courses at Albany Law emphasize experiential learning both inside and outside the classroom.
Juris Doctor Programs
Students may choose to pursue our general Juris Doctor (JD) Program or one of our 17 concentrations. Advanced simulation and problem-based courses, clinics, and field placements allow our students to engage in legal practice from their first year. Students involved in our Pathways Program are supported through mentoring and internship opportunities in the fields of Business, Tax, and Financial Market Regulation; Civil and Criminal Advocacy; Government, Policy, and Public Service; Health Law; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Public Interest Law.
For those with additional academic interests, our Combined Degree programs allow students to concurrently complete both an Albany Law Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor’s Degree at a participating institutional partner, over six or seven years.
Graduate Programs
Albany Law also offers a variety of Graduate Programs, both online and residential, for those wishing to expand their expertise. Our Dual Degree programs allow students to concurrently complete both an Albany Law Juris Doctor degree and a graduate level Master’s degree at a participating institutional partner.
