The tenth anniversary of We Are Albany Law Give Day served as a stellar example of the continued generosity throughout the Albany Law community. After a decade of this annual day of giving, more than $1 million in total has been raised to support the law school.

A goal of $200,000 was set for the day and it was not only reached, but surpassed, and set a new record for dollars raised on Give Day. The law school received more than 360 gifts from more than 330 unique donors.

Top areas of support included: The Albany Law School Fund, the John P. DeMatteo Scholarship Fund, the Alicia Ouellette ’94 Scholarship Fund, and The Government Law Center. In total, donors supported 23 different designations.

The newly established namesake scholarship will celebrate the successful tenure of Alicia Ouellette ’94: the 18th President & Dean of Albany Law School. This scholarship continues the great impact she has had on the students and community, and will support a current Albany Law School student. Thank you to the more than 45 donors who showed their support!
