Biography
Paul Larrabee, APR has more than 30 years of experience as a strategic communications practitioner. He is an adjunct professor in Albany Law School’s online graduate program and is teaching Integrated Strategic Communications – an element of the Law School’s government affairs and advocacy track.
He has led Corning Place Communications since 2011 – after a 22-year career in state government during which he served three Governors, an Attorney General and the state Assembly leadership as a senior communications strategist and spokesman. His appointments included positions such as First Deputy Commissioner for the Office of General Services (OGS) and Deputy Press Secretary to the Governor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and earned an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) an elite credential held by fewer than five percent of all PR practitioners in the United States reflecting skill, professionalism and ethical practice.
He additionally has served as President of the Public Relations Consultants Group and National Assembly Delegate to the Public Relations Society of America. For the last five years, he has been recognized by City & State Magazine as one of New York State’s the PR Power 50; and in 2015 named outstanding communications practitioner by the PRSA Capital Region.
