Biography
Professor Graves received a B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While at the College of Law, Professor Graves was a Comfort Scholar, extern to United States District Judge Stephen Friot, and was elected by faculty to the Order of Barristers.
Following law school, Professor Graves gained a variety of experiences in private practice, including labor and employment, land damage litigation, Section 1983, bankruptcy, matrimonial law, estate planning and others. Professor Graves served as Municipal Judge for the Town of Rush Springs for almost fifteen years and served as a Special Judge for the City of Oklahoma City. Since 2017, Professor Graves has been increasingly interested and involved in the areas of cybersecurity and privacy. Professor Graves is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Manager for the United States, Europe, and Canada as well as a Certified Information Privacy Professional. He is also certified by the Society for Human Resources Management as a Senior Certified Professional. Professor Graves is currently employed by a publicly traded, software and service company where he leads a team of product counsel, advises regarding privacy issues, assists with litigated matters, and advises the business on new and strategic products and projects.
