Mr. Stewart is a United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of New York, and was appointed in 2015.

Judge Stewart, a native of Warren County, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1985, and his J.D. from Albany Law School in 1988.  He was a trial attorney and partner at the law firm of Dreyer, Boyajian LLP for 15 years, and then with Brennan & White LLP in Queensbury NY for 10 years until the time of his appointment.
