Professor Ainsley G. Moloney joined Albany Law School in September 2018 as a Visiting Assistant Professor. She teaches Introduction to Lawyering and Secured Transactions. She previously taught at Albany Law School as an adjunct professor of law.

Prior to teaching, Professor Moloney was counsel in the Financial Restructuring group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP (successor-by-merger to Bingham McCutchen LLP) in Boston, where she advised creditor constituencies on a variety of financial restructuring matters and represented clients in bankruptcy-related litigation. Before joining Bingham, Professor Moloney worked as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, representing corporate debtors in Chapter 11. Professor Moloney also served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Carol A. Doyle at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Before attending law school, Professor Moloney lived in Paris, France for a number of years, where she worked for White & Case LLP. Professor Moloney is fluent in French.
