Biography
Sarah Rudgers Tysz is the executive director of Mediation Matters, a nonprofit organization that provides conflict resolution services in the Capital Region. She previously was deputy director at Mediation Matters and worked in a dispute resolution-related capacity for the National Archives & Records Administration, Federal Labor Relations Authority, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Rudgers Tysz is a member of several committees and boards, and serves as president-elect of the New York State Dispute Resolution Association.
As an adjunct professor, Rudgers Tysz taught alternative dispute resolution to pre-law and interdisciplinary students at Sage College. She earned her J.D. from Washington College of Law, American University, in Washington, D.C., and was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in 1998.
