Bolton Landing - Book Talk with Judith Resnik

The Bolton Free Library will be hosting a book talk with Yale Law School professor, Judith Resnik. She will discuss her book Impermissible Punishments: How Prison Became a Problem for Democracy, which explores the history of punishment inside prisons and how governments grappled with obligations to justify the punishments they impose. After an overview of the book, a conversation will follow with Ray Brescia, Associate Dean for Research and Intellectual Life at Albany Law School.
