Miracles do happen. Just ask Haran Wolfovitz Yaffe. No one thought he would live after being critically wounded in combat in 2006. Now he is a serial entrepreneur and winner of the prestigious Best App Award at the Mobile Premier Awards 2015, Barcelona MWC.
Haran, who was considered to be one of the “most severely wounded soldier of the Second Lebanon War in 2006,” turns the old cliché of “if you will it, it is not a dream” into a breathing, living proof. Haran, a medical phenomenon who defied all odds and defeated fatal injuries, shares his dynamic story in front of various audiences around the world.
In his inspiring lectures and shows, Haran takes his audience on the journey of his recovery and rehabilitation. From the battlefield to months in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, Haran transitioned from the wheelchair to the surfboard. Haran was gifted with the ability to depict horrifying moments with humor and charm, as if being hit by a missile is nothing at all.
Haran is a remarkable combination of many things: an entrepreneur, musician, and writer, as well as a medical phenomenon. By now, a polished motivational speaker, he travels throughout the world being an advocate for Music Tech, and speaking on behalf of disabled veterans, hospitals and related organizations. He continues to speak in schools, universities, fundraisers, conferences and other venues to inspire others through the story of his continuous journey.
