Federal Work-Study Eligible

Albany Law School is committed to locating and sustaining local educational tutoring opportunities for our law students to work with children in the City of Albany. The Office coordinates pipeline efforts to engage our students in supporting local reading and literacy programs for youth in grades 1 through 8. These programs are federal work-study eligible educational programs; therefore students may complete paperwork with our Financial Aid Office to receive a $12 per hour salary. Positions are posted on our Career Services Manager (CSM)

Two Together is a non profit, after-school literacy program for elementary school children, grades 1 through 6 in Albany's South End. Tutors provide one-on-one reading, writing and homework help to students in one of Albany's most disadvantaged neighborhoods. Salary: $12 per hour for federal work-study eligible law students.
