Social Media Community Standards Policy
Albany Law School welcomes participation on our social media accounts and encourages you to interact with us often and to comment about the content you find here. We ask that visitors to our platforms add to the discussion, remain civil and respectful to each other and to the administrators of official Albany Law School social media accounts, and help grow our community in constructive ways. Account administrators reserve the right to remove individual comments and restrict or close replies at our discretion that include the following:
- Comments unrelated to the original post
- Obscenity, nudity, offensive language, defamation, or hate speech (speech that targets people or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other protected status)
- Comments/posts that threaten to harm individuals, groups, or organizations
- Personal/ad hominem attacks on a member of the campus community
- Commercial advertisements or solicitations of funds
Users who violate this policy may be blocked and prevented from engaging further. Please be aware that account administrators cannot immediately review every comment posted on a page. If you see a comment that should be immediately addressed, please e-mail communications@albanylaw.edu.
