Change in Albany County Community Level

The Public Health and Safety Committee continues to monitor the spread of COVID-19 on campus and in our community. We write today to let you know that on Friday, September 29, 2022, the CDC moved Albany County to a Community Level of High. At a community level which is high, “the CDC recommends that you wear a mask indoors in public and on public transportation and that you stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines.” To that end, we are recommending that you wear masks in all indoor public places on campus and that you continue to stay current on all eligible vaccines. The new vaccine is specifically designed to protect against the Omicron variant and is widely available at most local pharmacies.

A reminder, it is very important that you do not come to campus if you feel sick. If you become sick while on campus, please leave immediately.

All policies and procedures (Vaccinations, Masking, Testing, Visitors, etc.) are on albanylaw.edu/covid19.
