This training will provide an overview of the current administration’s immigration detention policy. It will describe strategies for obtaining release for immigrants who have been detained without bond. The presentation will provide detailed training on Federal Habeas Corpus petitions and Immigration bond proceedings, and an introduction to the Immigrant Advocates Response Collaborative’s New York Habeas project.
