We Rise Together Campaign Raises $28 Million to Date

Supporters have given $28 million in gifts and commitments—through June 30, 2020—toward We Rise Together: The Campaign for Albany Law School. The total includes $1.6 million from more than 1,100 donors for annual expendable support in 2019-20, marking another extremely strong fundraising year.

We Rise Together: The Campaign for Albany Law School launched publicly in January 2019 with the announcement of a transformative $15 million gift to support The Justice Center at Albany Law School. Notably, campaign donors have started nine endowed scholarship funds, a fund to support Albany Law Review students, an innovation fund for legal education, the Women’s Leadership Initiative for students and alumnae, and an expanded Wellness Initiative to enhance the student experience.

The campaign continues through June 2021.
