Upload vaccine info; input will help loosen restrictions on campus

Updated  June 1, 2021

COVID-19 infection rates continue to drop as the percentage of vaccinated individuals increases. Through collective effort and cooperation, the Law School is hopeful many pandemic-related restrictions can end in the near future. Based on new state and federal guidance, once 70% of the Albany Law community has reported being vaccinated, Albany Law School will no longer require vaccinated individuals to wear masks while indoors on campus. We ask that everyone who has been vaccinated upload their vaccination information into the Share My Health system. You will need to upload a photo of your vaccination card (you can take one during the upload process with your computer or phone if your device has a camera). To upload your vaccination information:

  1. Go to https://www.sharemy.health/
  2. Sign In (link in upper right)
  3. Go to "Home" (link in upper left)
  4. Click "+ Upload Your Vaccination" at top of page
  5. Enter type of vaccine and vaccination dates
  6. Upload a photo of your vaccination record card (you can take a photo at that time)

Share My Health will verify your vaccination in the system within a few days.

In addition to being able to discontinue mandatory mask-wearing on campus, there are other benefits to uploading your vaccination record. Community members who have uploaded their vaccination information into the system will no longer be asked to submit negative COVID tests to be eligible to come to campus or be included in surveillance testing. Our expectation is that in the near future all those with verified vaccinations will no longer need to fill out the daily health screener.

At this time mask-wearing on campus continues to be required while indoors. Once 70% of the Albany Law community has uploaded their vaccination documentation to Share My Health we will be able to share new guidance ending the mask mandate. Individuals are welcome to wear a mask after the requirements have changed if they choose to do so.

We continue to monitor state and federal guidelines as we move closer to returning to a fully open and safe campus. We encourage everyone who can to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Check here to find a vaccination site near you.
