Positive Case Identified; Law School Buildings Closed Sept. 11

September 10, 2020

Dear Law School Community:

We have learned that a member of our community has tested positive for the virus that causes COVID-19.  The individual was on our campus today, September 10. The individual was not on campus any other day this week.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing all buildings immediately and for the day tomorrow, Friday, September 11, 2020, while the County Department of Health conducts contact tracing and we disinfect our buildings.  All classes will continue remotely.

At this point, we have no reason to believe that anyone was directly exposed.  Contact tracers from the Albany County Department of Health will be in touch if you are at risk.  If you are experiencing any symptoms, or believe you should be tested, please contact COVIDtesting@acphs.edu to arrange a test.

I will be in touch with more information as soon as I have it.
