Out of an abundance of caution: Masks in common areas

Members of the Staff and Faculty:

Albany County is experiencing substantial community spread of COVID-19, triggering a CDC recommendation that masks be worn in public indoor spaces.  It’s not clear whether that recommendation will apply to fully vaccinated populations, which we anticipate by mid-month.  Out of an abundance of caution, however, the law school is asking that everyone wear masks in indoor common areas starting tomorrow.  

We will update you as we learn more from public health authorities.
