Anthony De Marco ’17 Selected for Competitive International Internship

Anthony De Marco '17 has been selected by the New York State Bar Association for a highly competitive NYSBA International Section internship in San Jose, Costa Rica.

He will work this summer for four weeks with the Pacheco Coto international law firm in San Jose. The firm has offices in Central America, Europe, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. Previous student interns have participated in client meetings, prepared and reviewed legal documents, conducted research, and assisted with English language materials.

Professor Peter Halewood administers the NYSBA international internships at Albany Law School, whose students have been selected to work in Brazil, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, Mexico, and Panama. The Law Student International Internship Program is part of a larger study abroad program offered by Albany Law, where, in the past, students have studied in China, France, South Africa, and other countries.

De Marco, a student ambassador at Albany Law School, earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University at Albany.
