Albany Law School was recently included among the top 25 U.S. law schools for public interest law by The National Jurist, a national magazine for law students.

The magazine's staff considered such criteria as courses, clinical opportunities, faculty, loan repayment options, and percentage of graduates working in public interest and public service.

Albany Law has many options for students considering careers in public interest law, including the Law Clinic and Justice Center, a robust Pro Bono Program, the Government Law Center, and a number of internship and fellowship opportunities.

"Law schools have significantly improved their offerings during the past 25 years for students interested in working in public interest law," said Jack Crittenden, Editor In Chief and founder of The National Jurist.
