Albany Law School Announces New Pro Bono Coordinator

Albany Law School today announced that Patrick Barnett-Mulligan will be the law school’s new Pro Bono Coordinator, directing a wide range of pro bono activity, including community legal service days, student volunteer efforts, and collaborations with legal service organizations and other partners.
Barnett-Mulligan joins the law school after serving as director of the Clear Language Initiative for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Prior to that position, he was a clerk at the New York Court of Appeals and worked for more than two decades in the New York State Attorney General’s Office, where he handled appeals in New York State and federal courts. Barnett-Mulligan is a graduate of Williams College and Albany Law School (Class of 1982).
