The four- to eight-week internships are available to current 2L and 3L students. The participating law firms will provide the student intern with mentoring and hands-on work experience.

Previous student interns have fulfilled work assignments in various business, commercial and financial matters. They have participated in client meetings, prepared and reviewed legal documents, conducted research, and assisted with the firms’ English language legal and marketing materials.

Locations for the Summer 2017 Law Student International Internship Program currently include Buenos Aires, San Jose (Costa Rica), Asuncion (Paraguay), Panama City, Mexico City, and Vienna.

The Law Student International Internship Program is part of a larger study-abroad program offered by Albany Law, where, in the past, students have studied in China, France, South Africa, Costa Rica, and other countries.
