As part of the celebration of Albany Law School's 175th anniversary, we are honored to commemorate the institution's rich history with the installation of a historical marker at the site where Albany Law School first held classes in 1851. We invite you to join us for the unveiling ceremony, which will recognize the School's historic distinction as the nation's oldest independent law school.

This historical marker has been made possible through a generous grant from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation. The Foundation's New York State Historical Marker Program recognizes significant people, places, and events that have shaped the history of New York. We are deeply grateful to the William G.
