Changes to Daily Health Screener

April 7, 2021

This is to inform you that the question on the daily health questionnaire regarding travel outside of New York State will no longer be asked. New York no longer requires asymptomatic domestic travelers to quarantine, therefore, the question is not currently needed.

Individuals 16 or older are now eligible to get vaccinated for COVID-19 in New York State. We strongly encourage all eligible students, faculty and staff to get vaccinated in the coming days. All three vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) are available, have been approved, and are being widely distributed.

There are several ways to schedule an appointment.

Individuals must be able to show proof of both residency in New York and age in order to qualify. Proof of residency can include one (1) of the following: either a state or government-issued ID, statement for a landlord, a current rent receipt or lease, or mortgage records; or two (2) of the following: statement from another person, current mail, school records. Proof of age can include driver's license or other government ID, birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, certificate of naturalization or citizenship, life insurance policy, or marriage certificate.

We ask that you continue to remain vigilant as we approach the end of the spring semester and the start of the summer semester. And we remind everyone that masks are required in classrooms and other public spaces unless you are eating or drinking.
