Mr. Murphy is a partner in the New York office of Milbank and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Arbitration Group. Prior to joining Milbank in 2004, Mr. Murphy was a partner in the New York office of Clifford Chance LLP, where he was a member of that firm’s Securities Litigation practice group.
While at Albany Law School, Mr. Murphy was Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review, Vol. 57 and a member of the Albany Law Review, Vol. 56. He has participated in several alumni events, networking with alumni and current law review students.
Sean received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University. Sean’s grandfather is Daniel F. Fitzgerald, Class of 1915 and his uncle is Daniel F. Fitzgerald, Jr., Class of 1951.
