Events

The 2024 Veterans Pro Bono Project, hosted annually in memory of SSG Joseph Gentile ’20H, was again a success in November 2024.

Veterans, current service members, and their families visited Albany Law School for in-person one-on-one legal consultations from a volunteer attorney. This free event was presented by The Edward P. Swyer Justice Center at Albany Law School’s Veterans’ Pro Bono Project. This year, the law school partnered with the McNulty Veteran Business Center and The Legal Project to include expanded resources for this Veteran Services and Counseling Consortium. 
Participating veteran services organizations and other resources tabled with information and representatives in the areas of veteran benefits, housing assistance, veteran entrepreneurship, and legal expertise. They included:
