Faculty

An intellectual exchange of ideas builds understanding of the law. Albany Law School has invested 158 years perfecting the learning environment for that exchange.

Albany Law faculty have broad experience as practitioners, strong academic and scholarly credentials, and great teaching skills. Our 55 full-time and 43 adjunct faculty members offer students a wide range of backgrounds and interests.

Equally important, they are accessable. "Office hours" are just the starting point for professors whose open-door policies extend throughout the day. Our faculty are also extensively published. Students build close relationships with teachers who are writing the books in their fields.

The educational experience of our students is further enriched each year by the presence of Endowed and Distinguished Professors.
