Incorporating a law degree with a graduate degree in another field is a powerful combination. At Albany Law, we collaborate with other colleges and universities to offer joint degrees in several fields. A joint degree offers greater levels of knowledge and insight, broadens your impact in your field, and can advance your career in many ways.

Registrar Services

The Registrar's Office is located on the second floor of the 2000 Building. We are open for student transactions from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our office handles all aspects of registration and examinations, as well as student loan deferments, VA benefits, bar certifications, optional practical training for our international students, and academic transcripts. Feel free to contact us at 518-445-2330.

Registration
The Registrar's Office assigns first-year schedules to students. Beginning with the third semester, students select courses in accordance with the guidelines for their specific academic programs. Details of graduation requirements for each program are outlined in the Student Handbook.

The Registrar's office designates the registration period for each semester and provides students with procedures and deadlines for course selections. Each student must complete a legal ethics course, a professional skills course (beginning with the class of '08), and satisfy the upperclass writing assignment to earn a J.D. degree from Albany Law School.
