Academic Requirements for Admission
A broad, general education—including study in such
subjects as history, literature, government, economics, philosophy and
mathematics—provides an ideal foundation for the study of law. All
students should also be able to speak and write effectively in
English.
In weighing an applicant's credentials, we look at such factors as grade point average (GPA), the strength of the undergraduate institution, and the rigor of his or her course of study. We also consider an applicant's score on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), which is a reliable measure of academic preparation.
