Capital EAP Literature for Students

As part of Albany Law School's student support services, we have contracted with Capital Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to provide all students with free, confidential, off-campus counseling services. EAP offers information, evaluation, crisis intervention, short-term counseling and referrals. Three counseling sessions are provided to each student. There is no charge to students for using these confidential counseling services. Albany Law School does not receive information about individual students and families who use the program. For information or to schedule a confidential appointment, please contact Capital Student EAP at: 800-777-6531 (toll-free), call directly at 518-465-3813 or visit www.capitaleap.org.

Lawyers Assistance Program (LAP)

The Lawyers Assistance Program educates the profession on issues relating to impairment due to addictions, depression and other mental health issues. These afflictions often impact members of our profession at greater rates than the general public. They also provide assistance, resources and referrals when help is needed. All communications with LAP are confidential.
