Albany Law School students and faculty participated in the American Cancer Society's recent "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk, raising money for cancer research.

Sixty-two students registered for the cause, raising $1,668 to fund research to battle this devastating disease. More than 30 of the students took time out from their study to attend the walk in Washington Park on Oct. 21, 2012.

The Albany Law School team was led by Maura Kernan '13 and Robert Smith '13, both of whom have worked tirelessly over the past months to publicize the event and encourage their fellow students to participate. The team all proudly wore Albany Law School tee-shirts donated by President & Dean Penelope (Penny) Andrews, Associate Dean Alicia Ouellette and Professor Laurie Shanks.
