Albany Law School will delay opening until 11am due to the weather.
Mary D'Agostino '13 is getting broad exposure to the practice of law as a summer associate with Bousquet Holstein PLLC in Syracuse, N.Y.
"Because I was the only summer associate that the firm brought on, I have been fortunate enough to be able to work in a variety of practice areas: taxation, health care, litigation, employee benefits, matrimonial, not-for-profit organizations and business transactions," said D'Agostino, who is from East Syracuse.
"Overall, the experience has been great, and I feel fortunate that they selected me for this summer," she said. "The attorneys that I have been able to work with at the firm have all taken the time to provide me with feedback, which has been invaluable."
At Albany Law School, D'Agostino is editor-in-chief of the Albany Law Review, as well as a recipient of the Albany Law School Dean's Scholarship and the Trustee Prize. Prior to law school, she earned a degree in human resources management and industrial relations from Le Moyne College.
Bousquet Holstein PLLC – formerly Green & Seifter, Attorneys, PLLC – is a firm of more than 30 attorneys representing clients across many industries, from agriculture and health care to telecommunications and venture capital.
