Scheduling Conferences


​​To schedule an appointment with a writing assistant please email Professor Dorothy Hill at

Please provide the following information in your email:

1.  A description of the writing project, namely, what kind of document the student is drafting, i.e., memorandum, brief, scholarly article.

2.  If the project is for a class that is in progress, the name of the assigning professor and course name, and any instructions provided by the professor for the project.

3.  A brief description of the problem(s) the student is having with the writing project.

4.  When you are available to attend the conference. Availability during the posted hours of the Writing Assistants is preferred, but accommodations​ can be made by request.

4.  Attach a copy of the writing project that will be reviewed.
