Senior Citizens' Law Day is an annual community education event held on the Albany Law School campus.
For 18 consecutive years, Senior Citizens’ Law Day has provided reliable and objective information on some of the most pressing legal, financial and health issues of concern today, to hundreds of seniors and their family members living in our communities. A sampling of the regular seminars offered throughout the day include Future Care Planning for Adult Disabled Children; Health Care Proxies and Living Wills; Medicaid; Medicare; Powers of Attorney; Putting Your Affairs in Order; Small Estates; Voting; and Trusts.
The Nancy M. Sills '76 Memorial Lecture is held as part of Senior Citizens' Law Day. Past lectures have been presented by a NYS lieutenant governor, directors of the NYS Office for the Aging, Albany Law School faculty, and prominent advocates for older adults.
