Workshop attendees will participate in a kick-off dinner on Friday evening. After dinner, attendees may participate in roundtables to address issues that are common among untenured faculty, including advice on research and writing for tenure and promotion, as well as advice on teaching.
Saturday's program will include breakfast and a morning reception, lunch, teas and coffees, and a closing reception. Saturday's panelists will again address issues that are common among untenured faculty. The plenary sessions will be arranged to have lots of time for discussion.
The Workshop will be organized around a series of thematically organized sessions throughout the day on Saturday, February 2. Every effort will be made to ensure that scholarship workshops accommodate both formal presentations and informal dialogue on works-in-progress. In like manner, we hope to accommodate a broad range of teaching interests in teaching workshops.
