Judge Richard E. Sise was appointed to the Court of Claims by Governor
George E. Pataki on July 5, 2000, to fill the unexpired term of Judge James P.
King of Ticonderoga, New York.
In June of 2004, Governor Pataki nominated and the New York State Senate
confirmed Judge Sise for a full nine-year term. On July 6, 2004 Governor Pataki
designated Judge Sise as the Presiding Judge of the court of Claims.
