GLC faculty, staff and students work with local governments to assist them in creating effective, efficient and responsive structures that can help deliver critical services to their constituencies. Last year, the GLC worked with the City of Albany on a number of policy projects around vacant properties and urban farming. On April 21, 2015, as part of the Warren M. Anderson Legislative Breakfast Series, the GLC will host a panel discussion entitled “Unchaining Local Governments: Opportunities in New York State.”
