Danzi '79 Named President of NY Trial Lawyers

Robert F. Danzi '79 took the helm of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, a 4,600-member consumer rights organization, earlier this summer.

Danzi founded his own firm, the Law Office of Robert F. Danzi, in 1996, after having practiced in a larger personal injury firm for 16 years. His boutique practice focuses on complicated medical malpractice and select personal injury cases.

Over the years, Danzi has written articles, has lectured for the New York State Bar Association and Nassau County Bar Association, was on the New York State Bar Association's committee on Civil Practice Law and Rules, was vice chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association Medical Legal Committee, and co-authored proposed legislation in support of the plaintiff's bar.

Danzi has received the highest professional and ethical rating, AV, from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings. He is admitted to the Courts of the State of New York, the United States Federal Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
