Albany Law School will delay opening until 11am due to the weather.
Margaret Comard Lynch ’82 is bringing more than three decades of experience arguing in state and federal courts to Maguire Cardona, P.C., a civil litigation and general practice firm in Albany, N.Y.
In a statement, the firm said Comard Lynch will focus on civil rights, employment liability, premises liability, serious motor vehicle accidents, municipal liability, labor law and professional malpractice. Comard Lynch—a veteran trial attorney—is admitted to practice in New York State, and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
“Her extensive trial experience and intimate knowledge of the courts here in New York will be a tremendous asset to our clients,” senior partner Richard R. Maguire ’89 said.
Comard Lynch previously practiced at Lemery Greisler LLC and Ainsworth-Sullivan. She has served on the executive committee of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Trial Lawyers Section since 1991 and is the section's former chair. She co-chaired NYSBA's Committee on the Tort System from 2010 to 2017 and represented the Third Judicial District for the New York State Judicial Conference from 2002 to 2006.
Comard Lynch is also a past president of St. Catherine's Center for Children's board of directors. She is an alumna of the College of the Holy Cross and Albany Law School, Class of 1982.
