Anthony Brindisi '04 was recently elected to the New York State Assembly to represent the 116th District. The 116th District includes the cities of Utica and Rome in Central New York.

In describing his goals while in office, Brindisi said that his “number one goal will be to help foster an environment to create good-paying private sector jobs,” noting that he himself is a small business owner.

Brindisi is a partner at Brindisi, Murad, Brindisi, Pearlman, Julian & Perts, LLP, in Utica. He joined the firm, founded by his father, Louis Brindisi '59, after graduating from Albany Law.

At the law firm, Brindisi's areas of concentration include litigation in personal injury matters, labor law and construction accidents, and products liability. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Brindisi resides in Utica with his wife, Erica, and two children, Anthony and Lily.
