Elizabeth L. Van Nest'83has retired after 38 years of service to the Albany-based Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (cIcu), where she served as Vice President for Legal Affairs and General Counsel, and also as Executive Director of its sister organization, the Council of Governing Boards (CGB). In recognition of her long and successful tenure at cIcu and CGB, the New York State Senate and Assembly passed resolutions commemorating her exemplary efforts in advancing the public policy interests of more than 100 of New York State's non-profit, degree-granting institutions of higher education and the fiduciary interests of their campus boards of trustees.
